i can write you a novel about my love affair with these pistol boots (or with this brand actually) but i will spare you that.

it doesn´t happen so often that i spend hard earned 400 bucks on the same shoes let alone the same color.

but tell you what, i am no shoe expert or something (if there´s ever such a thing), these boots are the most comfortable (wear them at work for 9 hours straight), best quality (shoes are still intact after 3 years of constant wear without getting the soles fixed), coolest & add your superlatives here shoes i have ever set my feet into.

so as imelda marcos said: if the shoe fits, buy it. THRICE, i did.

if there is ONE pair of shoes that i have been longing, searching (read: HUNTING) for so long now, i guess it would be the elusive isabel marant bazil (or bekett) sneakers.
i have been on the wait list in mytheresa and net-a-porter for god knows how long in all the colors you can imagine (but always preferred this ecru one which is unfortunately like the holy grail)
but never, i mean NEVER managed to track them down.
so when i arrived in paris, my first stop was of course the avenue victor hugo, where a new store has opened!
it was a majorrr feeling in there.
i mean all the sales assistant were wearing isabel marant head to toe and they had EVERY shoe you could ever dream of.
i tried em all, but my heart definitely belongs to these sneakers.

and like almost all fairy tales end, WE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

FORGIVE ME FATHER FOR I HAVE ALEXANDER WANG-ed (yes that is synonymous to sinned) AGAIN.
i have been obsessing about this golf bag for so many months now.
i thought about getting the rocco in black but who needs them in two colors, right?
it was a hard choice between black and white (how gorgeous is zanita by the way?) but since i got my pashli in white, it seems about right to get it in black.

let´s get sentimental.
when i was growing up as a kid, we didn´t have much. we weren´t poor (my dad managed to make ends meet) but we definitely couldn´t afford travelling around the world, let alone buy designer stuff.
i was happy though.
but now that i earn my own money and write this blog, so many doors have been opened for me.
i have visited countries that me and my sister only used to look up on our world maps.
i can now afford stuff that i only have dreamt about on magazines when i was a teenager.
buying a magazine was a luxury.
it feels great.
but nothing feels better than the moment your kid asks you to go with him to the toilet to poop.
OMGGG!

i am back in good ol germany!

as much as i enjoyed my short (but sweet) trip, i am glad to be back in my laid back town.

i love the underground, the busy streets, the double decker buses in london but

i have gotten used to living in this small town with the familiar faces.

there´s just no place like home!
