whew!
i wish everyone had an amazing christmas time with their loved ones.
i volunteered to cook christmas eve dinner this year and boy, was it nerve wrecking but totally worth it.
watching the kids open their presents with such big eyes and great expectations..

anyway, i wished for two things this year.
this Saint Laurent purse which has been on top of my list whole year long and for THESE shoes to arrive before the end of the year.
I GOT BOTH!!!!
the shoes i have been working on for SACHA SHOES for almost a year now has finally arrived!
i have posted a sneak peek of them three months ago and you wouldn´t believe how hard it is not to SHOUT and SHOW every single person in this world, that I HAVE DESIGNED A SHOE!!!!!
i wanted to make something that is first of all, me.. and then something sexy, classic and unique.
i´ve looked into my shoe closet and studied every pair.
what made me like it and therefore buy it and what i hated about it.
in the end, i ended up with an ankle boot with mesh details and not so high heels.
something i can wear for a new years eve party but also wear with jeans and plain tee.

I AM SO EXCITED TO HEAR WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THEM.
your opinion really matters to me!

temperatures are dropping and so is my patience!
in theory, we all love layering but in reality it´s such a pain in the ass..
wearing 5 layers of tops, sweaters, fleece underthingies is so not my forte..
anyway, this Nixon watch has been my constant friend these last days.
something about looking at how many more days i have to endure this winter before i leave it all behind for the beach and ripe mangoes..

so our first of december went very well.

started with a big breakfast, followed by opening the first (of three!!) door of Miguel´s advent calendar.

then off to a late thanksgiving lunch with friends where i made roasted turkey..

we went for a small walk in this park and capped the night with some mulled wine at the christmas market.

what can i say, i really love christmas!

´tis REALLY the season!

happy first of december.. not so long now..
spent my weekend finishing a very ambitious advent calendar project i had for my little boy.
anyway, double is always better, no?
so positively amazed how casual this outfit even though i felt kinda weird wearing matching "pimp" (according to my lovely boyfriend) coat and boots.
but really loved the result!

easy breezy work outfit for today and we´re off to watch the hunger games!
i am a HUGE fan of the books (geek alert!) and of jennifer lawrence (not so fond of the bob gurlll), so excited to see what kind of outfits she´ll be wearing in the movie this time.
anyway, i don´t want to ever take off this jacket. it has a teddy bear lining that make it so warm.
every winter, i realize how much i really really hate winter.
but luckily, after christmas, i will finally be going back to the philippines to spend my birthday and new year!

if i could wear just one outfit everyday, this would probably be it.
a big turtleneck sweater, these boots and this coat. all from madame isabel marant.
i have never been so excited for an H&M collaboration since maybe Versace (which was rather flashy & trashy to the point of PERFECTION) but marant´s bohemian casual cool is just more me.
i have waited 2 hours at a queue on the online shop, which when you think about it, is sooo ironic in our very modern digital age.
anyway, i got what i wanted and i am so happy with the quality!
