festival season is over obviously but the rainy season has just started.
just in time, hunter sent over these gorgeous wellies!
it´s part of their collaboration with Rag & Bone!
who would have thought rain boots can be pretty too?

though i find myself still wearing sandals and high heels, (hello it´s fashion week!) i thought that i could dress appropriately for a change for a play date with miguel.
we were jumping in rain puddles, and boy was he glad!

some of you might know that i have spent two amazing days in Copenhagen with By Malene Birger for Copenhagen Fashion Week (i am working on a very picture heavy diary for tomorrow so watch out for that!).
and as Copenhagen is home to all things beautiful, i couldn´t go home without going to By Malene Birger´s flagship store in the city center and what´s a scandinavian trip without shopping at Acne (super score with this parka that i have wanted for ages already!!)?
anyway, these boots are a dream. the heels are the perfect height for daily use and the half suede, half leather.. I MEAN..
 they also come with a studded belt which you can attach if feeling kinda rockstar.
 there are two other pieces in my luggage that´s just waiting for Fall..
my hands are itching to show you though!!

okay, if there´s one thing i applaud hedi slimane for, it is his ability of spicing up conversation at the dinner (read: macaron) table.
after his first season for saint laurent (yes, we´re dropping the yves for conversation's sake), there were several mixed reactions.
i for one loved it, though my opinion clearly doesn't count since i am not a typical YSL customer, so many hated it as well. i am saving you the links to articles saying such as you probably have read those already. now with the second collection, all eyes were on him.
will he save YSL's reputation or will he make a laughing stock out of himself?
after seeing the pictures from the runway (GOD BLESS THEE STYLE.COM), i was not surprised.
PUNK'S NOT DEAD LADIES AND GENTLEMAN. IT´S BACK.
clearly, slimane wants to cater to the young, modern YSL customers, not the french & elite.
though this is such a huge step, i don´t see why everyone is bashing. if he stick to what ysl did before, where's the fun in that?

hello guys!
how have you been?
it has been a busy week for me at work and home so please excuse the mini- absence!
anyway, i have always loathed brown and black together but this jacket just seems to work with any color!
if there´s one "fashion" advice i can give you (that is if you allow me), is to invest in a good quality leather jacket. my acne jackets are the best pieces in my closet and i have not regretted a single dime.
(this advice was given to me by a fellow acne addict, so SHOUTOUT to ruta if you´re reading this!)
