NUMERO CINCO. Hello Kitty Vans

my fixation addiction to Hello Kitty has a long history that goes all the way back to my childhood.
this cute little kitty has been popular in Asia for as long as i remember and it kinda
reminds me of home.
so no wonder when i see that my favorite cat is on a pair of sneakers, that i always wanted to buy appears, i didn´t need a second to think if i needed it or not.
I JUST DID.

here are some of my favorite items which i recently bought.
you would think i am crazy if i show you all the things i´ve been collecting since i was young.

the weekend was too amazing for words.
it was 2 days of good food, great clothes, BEST people, awesome party and even greater hangover. OOPS.
my WHATSTREND team (Cindy, Sara, Ilanka, Ivelina, Christian & Sophia) and my lovely german blogger/ friends (Dustin, Josi, Oliver, Maggie and Tim) surely had the time of our lives.

so it has been quiet around here over the weekend.
i went to Braunschweig to take part in the New Yorker Blogger Workshop with my Whatstrend girls and other lovely german bloggers!
a diary of the wonderful two days will follow shortly.
so many nice memories and pictures to share with you!
the outfit is quite simple but perfect for a 6 hour train ride back home + HUGE hangover from the afterparty the night before. OOPS.

i´ve officially jumped on the navajo pants bandwagon.
this was actually the first outfit i wore on Berlin Fashion Week with my Theyskens Theory boots.
it was all gloomy & grey so i thought why not wear a bright color to cheer up the atmosphere?

the biggest dilemma of a fashion blogger is travelling
without THE boyfriend slash photographer slash everything.
during my trip to berlin, i have completely forgotten (read: embarassed to ask random people to photograph me) taking pictures of my outfit.
so i am so thankful when my friend Jason (which blog you should check out by the way), took these pictures of me.
it´s kind of an outfit post,no?

okay another highlight of the whole week was the collection of my friend Lucian.
not that i was expecting the opposite, but it was seriously great.
i think better than the last one (which i thought wasn´t possible).
once i set foot backstage, i knew that he´ll hit it again this time.
the clean cuts, the innovative shape of the coats, the details, the drapings, the tailoring,
EVERYTHING was perfect.
i exchanged my seat for a spot on the photographers pit to really capture the beauty of the collection,
and boy am i glad!

Lucian, if you´re reading this, i wish you all the success you truly deserve.
you will be the next big thing, i can sense it!

NUMERO QUATTRO. Cleane boots: Isabel Marant

i have decided to start this small "The Shoe Project" documenting all the shoes i have acquired for 2012 and mini stories behind the acquisition.

anyway, YESSS finally got a hold of these elusive IM boots.
i have been searching them everywhere to a point of no success.
so before my trip back home from Berlin Fash Week, i decided to have a quick peek at The Corner, and there they were, sitting perfectly waiting for me.

shoutout to the super friendly sales assistant who was tempting me to get the red ones as well.
you rock.

Here are some shots from my favorite show so far!
So aside from the fact that Wang Yutao is from my side of the globe and a renowned designer in China, his collection was ahh- (wait for it) MAZING!!
the women´s dresses were just so floaty perfect.
the men´s collection is exactly how i picture my boyfriend´s style in my dreams.
a mix of fur, leather and tweed.
Very London Chic. It is said to be a homage to the upcoming Olympic Games hosted by England.
i got goosebumps after the show.
honestly.

PS: As much as i want to update everyday, running a one man show makes it really very hard, almost impossible to post as often as i would want to. :(
