just picked this beauty up from the dry cleaners that i bought from a vintage store here in my town a couple of days ago.
my love for stars and stripes shouldn´t be a big secret to you now..
never been to the US but hopefully this september with my two boys.
*crossing fingers so hard*

it´s my birthday today and it´s perfectly the right time to pond upon how my year was.

i feel incredibly blessed by everything i have received, people i met, places i got to visit and the memories i am able to keep.

like wine, it just gets better every year.

hello guys!

finally, the search for the perfect little black dress (which all magazines and blogs command you to at least have one in your closet) is O- V- E- R.

i found it while roaming marais with my babe emilie on my recent trip to paris (imagine me pronouncing it without the S, so french chic).

i was trying three completely different dresses when the super duper friendly sales assistant (hello to you if you´re reading this!) brought me this dress which he thought i would like.

then everyone started to form a circle in front of my changing room and just threw nice compliments about THE dress.

so what was there left to do?

OF COURSE.

bring home the bacon.

it was my first (and definitely not the last) purchase.

this beauty doesn´t come cheap but was sure worth every penny.

i am never the one who would wear a cropped top but this one (ordered one size bigger) made me change my mind.

i hope i didn´t scare you or something.

the mesh and criss cross details were just screaming "TRY ME!!", so i did.
