as much as i am loving the pleasant weather happening right now, my hay fever has also taken a jumpstart! :( (to those who feel me, i feel ya too!)

NEVER, and i mean NEVER did i imagine that i would be owning these.
but somehow, they are so out there, that i really wanted to give it my spin.
valentino is known for it´s elegance, femininity and all that jazz which is everything i´m not.
so why not pimp it up with black which is the essence of my being?? HAHAHA

how have you been?

my weekend has been a bit crazy as it felt like i spent two days in the kitchen making some cake pops for a christening and a friend´s opening party.

i have been doing them for a while and giving them my friends and now i finally took that step to make a small dream come true!

i opened a facebook page entirely dedicated to my cake pops!

i never really understood the hype around these but maybe i was too fast to judge.

made me realize: maybe a hype is what it is because they are really great?

how have you been?

my inbox is flooded by happy valentines day!!! have you gotten your special someone a gift already? emails that i decided to be a rebel and wear black to show my feelings toward this "holiday".

i am not against romance, not at all, but i really don´t think that we need a special day to show love..

but hey, if you want to give me something on the 14th, don´t be shy, i will gladly accept!

maybe it´s just the stress from work that i am throwing tantrums but i am just really friggin tired. 

tomorrow´s another day, we´ll see.

it actually doesn´t happen quite often that i wear a Saint Laurent leather outfit on a Tuesday.
but yesterday, i casually did. insert LOL-ing emoji here.
so is this what it feels like to wear Saint Laurent?
OMG.
it´s like my body is rejecting all my other clothes after this one.
i am not at all badass, but yesterday, i felt like one. Angelina-Jolie-in-Tomb-Raider-badass kinda day!

i have been travelling the last weeks (more about that in the next posts!!) and my laundry is challenging the height of mt. everest. eek.

but no worries now, i am hopefully staying in until christmas and i have so many stories to tell the next days.

so our first of december went very well.

started with a big breakfast, followed by opening the first (of three!!) door of Miguel´s advent calendar.

then off to a late thanksgiving lunch with friends where i made roasted turkey..

we went for a small walk in this park and capped the night with some mulled wine at the christmas market.

what can i say, i really love christmas!

´tis REALLY the season!

happy first of december.. not so long now..
spent my weekend finishing a very ambitious advent calendar project i had for my little boy.
anyway, double is always better, no?
so positively amazed how casual this outfit even though i felt kinda weird wearing matching "pimp" (according to my lovely boyfriend) coat and boots.
but really loved the result!

one week without posting in this über competitive blogosphere seems like suicide for some but it was important for me to make a point.
the situation in the philippines is still not resolved as though so many have survived, they are dying of hunger, thirst and lack of medicine.
distribution of relief goods is slow due to the closed roads but mostly because of our corrupt government´s hidden agenda.
repacking goods with politicians´ names on it is just so mean and pointless at this point.
campaigning to those who are fighting for their lives is unfair and uncalled for.

BUT as what they say, life must go on.
i am very thankful to be working with brands who have HUGE hearts.

writing this post with the fluffiest socks i own, sipping my earl grey and watching the big bang theory on the side.
THAT´S RIGHT. i am on a one week holiday from work!
the kid is in kindergarten, le boyf at work. the house all for myself. just like the old times! :)
anyway, also enjoying the city covered with these golden leaves.
