1. this fishnet top. the first thing i bought in paris from the 1 euro bin in FREEPSTAR in marais. WOOT.

2. my black MICHAEL KORS watch that i´ve been wearing NON- STOP. my other mk watches are getting jealous already.

3. my 3. 1 PHILLIP LIM pashli satchel that fits my whole life and is chic at the same time.

4. black blazer from MEXX that i got from the store opening in stuttgart last saturday (post coming up!).

TAKE A BOW.

If you have been following my blog for sometime now, you probably have seen the style transition i have gone through. But if there´s one thing that stayed constant all through the years (no it´s not the awkward leggings), it is my penchant for unique, one of a kind shoes. Picking out an outfit definitely starts with the footwear, not the other way around. So when i saw these uber kawaii red bow sneakers (the bows remind me of hello kitty, one of many asian guilty pleasures), i couldn´t help but think, "these are so meeee..". Of course, i had to wear it with a vintage camouflage parka and high waisted denim cutoffs to de- girlify the look. There was just no other choice!

i just realized that i haven´t shown you an outfit with these boots (ironic actually when i have been wearing it to death) here on the blog.

anyway, i had a blast thrifting/ vintage shopping/ or what have you at FREE P STAR in the marais on my quick trip to paris.

loads of treasures to be uncovered beneath those boxes on the corner i tell ya.

it´s where i found this belt.

CHEAP BUT CHIC.

an amazing story about this jacket:
when i went to portugal some weeks ago, i spotted this jacket on a vintage stand on the festival site.
i asked for the price. a bit expensive for my taste. i walked away.
but i couldn´t for the love of god take it off my mind so i decided to look at it again and decide if it was worth the price.
another girl was manning the stand so i asked again.
she told me a price that was 1/3 of what the other lady told me.
without thinking, i gave her the money and walked away happy!
i hope the other lady didn´t kill her.
LESSON LEARNED: never give up on something you really want! haha
unfortunately this doesn´t work for that alexander wang bag on shopbop which page i keep on refreshing but somehow always shows me the same friggin price.
LOL

quick post today as we have to run to the in- laws!
haven´t had the greatest sleep last night as miguel is sick (poor baby) but he´s feeling better now!

and if you´re following me in facebook, you´ll probably know that i my diego bag arrived some days ago!! FINALLY.
it´s such a dream. ahhhh

spring, spring i can smell you already!
this is an outfit i made for my guest blog post over at my friends at Lori´s Shoes.
it was a bit cold as we shot these (note to self: moisturize knees before taking bare legged photos) but looking at the pictures now,
i suddenly crave for a yacht and lotsa cocktails!

aahhh i think spring finally took my hint. it´s either he is already here or he´s really on his way.
it was so warm that i decided not to wear tights to brunch.
we were sitting outside of the restaurant, drinking iced teas and eating greens with the sun shining directly in my face.
then we went to get gelatos for desert.
and i finally found my pink lipstick in a bag i rarely use.
a perfect day, i would say.

miguel and i are going "swimming" today (yeah i can´t swim).
and you would think living in a country with a LOT of islands and beaches for 19 years is reason enough to learn how to swim, right?
