hey guys!
so while celebrating my kid´s birthday last saturday, a very unfortunate accident happened to me. :/
i twisted my ankle while jumping on a trampoline.
my trip to paris on friday will have to be cancelled as i am wearing chic crutches and a big fat bandage on my right foot. so frustrated as i really have great things planned and glamorous parties to attend. :(
SHIT HAPPENS.
but lucky for you, i can finally sit down and sort through pictures from london, forgotten outfit pictures as i don´t have any choice as to lay down and wait until my foot heals.
ANYWAY, british weather served us well with rain and strong winds during fash week.
but i managed to snap some feet (pun intended) and gorgeous people here and there.

BY MALENE BIRGER 'BUGSY' COAT

ok, so i don´t know about you, but if there is one trend this coming fall/ winter that is definitely number one on my list, it is the PINK COAT!
on day 2 of london fashion week, two of these streetstyle icons, Irina & Camille wore THE coat (could you blame them, it´s gorgeous).
though it is the same coat, i love how they styled it differently.
Irina opted for a double denim look paired with her gorgeous red Saint Laurent Betty purse for contrast.
Camille was laid back with a mini skirt (brrr..) and a basic sweater.
interestingly, mules were the shoe choice for both.

sunday. paris. chloe. 4 pm. tuileries gardens. 
it was my last 3 hours in paris.. although i knew that there will be thousands of people probably wanting to do the same thing as i do, add that to the normal tourists out on a perfect sunny parisian day, i still decided to join the flock of streetstyle photographers hoping to snap some big peacocks (as coined by Suzy Menkes) before i left. it was pure mayhem.

i went an hour earlier to sit by the water and to feed the birds. besides, the "important" ones always come fashionably late. from the green chair i was sitting, i can observe from a far what goes on before the show. how photographers try to find the perfect spot to shoot. how the "celebrities" find their perfect entrance to catch the attention of all said photographers. how my blogger colleagues "purposely" run to the show site like they´re in a hurry and late for the show, with clutches on tow, iphones on hold. one photog approaches & asks if he can get a photo.
of course they stop and pose.
they´re not in a hurry after all and don´t have an invite to the show.
i loved the view.
it was a parade of colorful coats, neon beanies dslr cameras & skyscraper heels. the colorful the better. the higher the better.
ahhh fashion week. how i love thee.

miroslava duma. kate lanphear. carine roitfeld. christine centenera. grace coddington. anna wintour. giovanna battaglia.
people who i really admire and somehow made fashion MORE than just being about clothes.
all of whom i met in my short trip to paris.
it was just so SURREAL.

i hope you´re still not tired of street style?

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

last week before flying to italy, i stopped by the Peace & Love Festival in Borlange to snap some genuine swedish street style.

i have never seen so many fashionable people in my life!

not to mention, almost everyone was camping and didn´t have the luxury of a shower or whole wardrobe (so unfair).

i am still amazed.

so glad to have snapped Andreas and Angelika when i was about to put my camera on my bag!
